Hello my friends, its me again. Did you get the email about the tinned meat I sent you all, don't worry about it now if you, it was spam. (cue laughs). If you haven't already stopped reading because of the poor joke I shall give some top tips on how to get swifty this bank holiday weekend. Here is a list of my top 5 beers to drink this sunny weekend. I love trying new beers it does bring me joy when I find a really nice beer on holiday but sometimes it can end badly. Sorry New Zealand as much as I love you, your beer brewing skills do need a little catch up.
Firstly lets get another poor joke over and done with. Beer 6.
6. Corona - Lager
Who doesn't love a Corona on a bank holiday weekend. I know for a fact that corona is the beer that no one is drinking this bank holiday as it seems to be the only beer left on the shelf in Tesco. I wonder why? All jokes aside it is a great beer and pairs very well with a slice of lime in the top but not good enough to make the top 5 list. Poor Corona. #budlightvirus.
I would highly recommend that if you don't want to drink Corona for obvious reasons. Give Pacifico a go. It sounds like something you can pick up at your local beach shack and tastes pretty dam good too again please insert a slice of lime *here*. But please stay 2 meters away.

5. Heineken - Premium Lager
Some people may question this beer and may completely stop at this point due to the poor choice I have made. Trust me, it will get better. At least its not Carlsberg. Heineken is sold in many countries around the world, I have had it in Amsterdam where it was brewed, in New Zealand on a blissfully hot day and even on a rainy beach in Cornwall. Not once did I dislike the premium beer. It is even better served in an Ice cold class. Trust me. I would also recommend if you are ever in the city of Amsterdam to do the Heineken Experience it is a really good interactive tour that left me pretty waved.
Fun Fact: Amstel was brought out by Heineken international in 1968 and Heineken international owns 170 beer brands worldwide. Their portfolio includes Tiger Beer, Red Stripe and Birra Moretti. So Heineken as a company is pretty hot shit.
4. Peroni - Premium lager
È una buona birra! No, of course I didn't use google translate - again. A beer that brands itself on being the true taste of Italy. Well, I think I should book a trip don't you? Served best cold as any good beer should be. It always makes me happy when I can get a draught Peroni with my food at a local restaurant. They only down side to it is that it can be bloody expensive. £5.50 for a pint of Peroni? Don't worry mate I will have a Fosters top. Fosters tastes bad without lemonade and even then it could do with some help. My personal opinion of course. Peroni on the other hand straight out the tap in an ice cold glass, heaven.

God all this beer talk, whilst writing this in the sun does bring on some cravings. Be right back, going to have a beer break.

3. Camden Hells - Lager (between hells and Pilsner)
We love you Camden we do, we love you Camden we do, we love you Camden we do, oh Camden we love you. A proper London beer made in a country that is trending on craft beers. Coming in at 4.6 percent its a crisp beer that definitely helps you get a bit tipsy in the beautiful sunshine. Its clean, crisp and dry. It even says it on the back of the bottle. It won International Brewing Awards including Champion Keg Lager 2013 which proves that its a good beer on tap. Not bad for a beer thats around 9 years old. (Its not even old enough to drink yet) Camden town Brewery, we thank you. Only negative again is that its a very trendy beer at the moment so can be expensive in some bars/pubs. (a.k.a. Winter Wonderland - fricken had to open up my savings to buy a beer there). Camden town is very similar to Brewdog who, in fairness, do some pretty good beers too. My favourite from them is PUNK IPA.
2. Offshore - Pilsner
Offshore is made by Sharps Brewery and is actually a very hard beer to find on tap but can be found every now and then in a can (a can is never the same). Its is supposedly inspired by the rare moments when the wind turns offshore to create perfectly clean waves and the refreshing sea spray on your face. That brief moment of ultimate relaxation. Something that would go well in a decent shaka bruh photograph. Yes, it does all sound a bit over the top for a beer but it really does go down well whilst sitting in the sun. Its has a herbal lemon aroma. The beer is crisp and light. The finish is brisk and leaving you in a dry citrus fruit paradise.
1. Big wave - Golden Ale
No, no, no don't panic not that kind of big wave. Its just a Hawaiian beer that will only provide you with pure joy and happiness. The true Aloha feeling. Made by Kona brewing it has a real delicate aroma with subtle fruitiness. It's becoming easier to find in the UK as it is currently being sold in Waitrose and M&S. However, it can be found in the cooler places in life like the Hogs Back Brewery and Windsor Farm Shop but the best place I have found it (and it was on tap) was The Watering hole. The Watering Hole is the UK's only bar on the beach found in Perranporth. It was heaven. It was a moment of true bliss as I took a sip of that refreshing beer. It was in the right glass too, tops! Kona brewing also sell a Larger called Longboard which is basically on par with Big Wave but because Big Wave is easier to find in a bottle. #liquidaloha

There we have it bro's. My Top 5 beers. They are all worth trying. Even Carlsberg in Copenhagen tastes good. My top tip always try a beer where it is brewed. It always tastes better as it has not been transported anywhere. Guinness in Dublin, Carlsberg in Denmark and TUI in New Zealand. I also thought I would give Mikkeller brewery a shout out too only because of the vast amount of beers they actually produce. If I can leave you with one message please always keep trying different beers! Drink responsibly.
Until next time guys! Thanks
